The SkirtGuard is an innovative, powder coated steel product developed to stabilize splash guards and mud flaps mounted on the rear of RV’s, trucks and vans. The SkirtGuard is suspended by chain and holds a customer’s existing splash guard or mud flap firmly in place. Current guards fail to provide their stated protection due to the extreme updraft that lifts them up at freeway speeds. SkirtGuard keeps the skirting or mud flap in place, helping to save the owner the expense of repairing glass and paint damage from rocks, gravel and other road debris. The SkirtGuard has been tested in the field for several years in all kinds of road and weather conditions with different types of splash guards and mud flaps. The SkirtGuard works equally well with brush-style as well as flap-style mud guards. Engineered with precision and manufactured utilizing state-of-the-art technology, SkirtGuard is adjustable to fit RV’s from micro-mini size to the larger oversized buses. Skirt Guard installs in less than 20 minutes by following a few simple steps and using common tools. SkirtGuard does not come with splash or mud guard.
